Asarum canadense (Wild Ginger) maroon 'Wood's Pink' has a compactA wonderful native woodland groundcover that grows to 6 12" tall. Unlike European Ginger, this variety nearly vanishes in winter, returning in March as a small close to the ground cluster of heart shaped leaves on very thick stems.
