Danger Mouse & Gemini - Ghetto Pop Life HOWL The project grew from conversationsReleased in September 2003, Ghetto Pop Life is a collaborative album between hip hop producer Danger Mouse and NYC based rapper Jemini (or Jemini The Gifted One). Pairing a jazzy, louche production style with Jemini’ s cartoonish, old school raps, it was a fun and evocative debut album calling back to bands like Souls Of Mischief, A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde (the latter of whom guest on the record itself).
