Domaine Benoit Chauveau Coteaux du Giennois Calcaire, Loire, 2023 Montalcino The blend is Merlot dominantA stand out Pouilly Fum from limestone rich soils. Chauveaus Calcaire is wonderfully fresh thanks to fermentation in stainless steel vats, but still offers notes of ripe apricot and on the palate. This rich depth is balanced beautifully by the limestone minerality the Calcaire would therefore pair well with seafood, a fish terrine or fine cheese.
